The BTR vehicles of Sri Lanka Army were deployed to rescue people stuck in places due to floods.

One of these vehicles met with an accident in Kiriella area in Rathnapura and the armymen had to put a great effort to take the BTR out of water.

Meanwhile, M.I.17 helicopter of Sri Lankan Air Force crash landed in Baddegama due to a technical error yesterday.
