Commodore D K P Dassanayaka transferred from National hospital to Welisara Navy Hospital

Commodore+D+K+P+Dassanayaka+transferred+from+National+hospital+to+Welisara+Navy+Hospital
Former Navy Media Spokesperson Commodore D K P Dassanayaka who had been under custody, has been transferred from the Colombo National Hospital to the Welisara Navy Hospital.

Prisons Media Spokesperson Thushara Upuldeniya said that the Commodore was transferred to Welisara Navy Hospital following recommendations from doctors at the National hospital.

Commodore Dassanayake had been informed to appear before the CID last Wednesday to record a statement in connection with disappearance of 11 youths in Colombo in 2008 and 2009.

He was arrested by the CID while at the Welisara navy hospital as he did not turn up.
