Two+individuals+arrested+for+illegal+timber+transporting
Two individuals who were engaged in transporting timber illegally without permit in Kahagolla area in Diyathalawa - Bandarawela road have been arrested by the police.

During a raid carried out yesterday, 37 tree logs and a lorry were taken into the custody of police Special Task Force.

Value of the timber is about Rs.100,000 and the suspects have been forwarded to the custody of Haputale Wildlife Office for further investigations.
