A French national with 4 gems worth 11.5 million rupees has been arrested by the Katunayake airport customs.
It has been reported that the customs also seized 61 cartons of cigarattes worth two hundred thousand rupees along with 9 bottles of foreign liquour from the 65 year old French national.
Among them are blue sapphire and topaz gem stones.
