Sri Lanka’s Government and the United Nations have signed the 2018 – 2022 United Nations Sustainable Development Framework, which pledges to invest 300 million US dollars over the next five years.
The agreement pegs UN assistance to Sri Lanka’s long term development priorities.
Harsha De Silva, deputy minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs speaking at the occasion said that they are extremely pleased that the UN will be investing over 300 million US dollars for the development of Sri Lanka over the next five years.
