The strike launched by the railway controllers attached to the Maradana train station, this morning has been called off.

The strike was launched stating that necessary measures were not taken to eliminate bed bugs in their rest rooms.

However, the railway controllers association has decided to call off the strike upon a solution assured by the railways general manager.

Railway Guards operating from Maradana has commenced a strike from 10.00am today.

they have commenced the strike accusing the authorities for not taking measures to eradicate bed bugs.
