A 16-year-old girl who came to Dodangoda to attend a music class, had been abducted by three youths and molested her.

Police said they had abducted the girl using a three-wheeler.

The victim had told the police that only one of the three youths had sexually abused her.

The girl who is studying at a popular school in Matugama, was later abandoned at a bus halt by the suspects.

She was later admitted to the Nagoda Hospital for a medical test. Police investigations continue to apprehend the suspected youths.
