Police say four persons sustained injuries when a three-wheeler veered off the road and fell into a precipice in Hemmathagama this afternoon.
Our reporter said the three-wheel driver was critically injured in the mishap.
The injured persons were residents of Dumbuluwa.
A woman who had witnessed the accident had said that the ill-fated three-wheeler was traveling on the wrong side of the road.
