Prime Minister summons UNP MPs

Prime+Minister+summons+UNP+MPs
UNP MPs will hold a special meeting this afternoon at Temple Trees to take a final decision regarding minster of Justice and Buddha Sasana Wijedasa Rajapaksa with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the chair.

At last Thursdays UNP working committee meeting a resolution was put forward by party backbenchers saying that Minister Wijedasa actions have proven that he cannot be trusted. The resolution was passed.

It was stated that it was of their view that the minister should step down from his post as minister of Justice.

Reporters said that Minister Wijedasa Rajapkasa was also present at  this 3 hour long working committee meeting, and that there had been ongoing tension during the meeting.
