The third reading of the Provincial Council Elections Amendment Bill passed in Parliament with a 2/3rd majority.
159 MPs voted for the bill while 37 voted against.
Earlier, the Attorney General had informed the Speaker that the Bill needed to be passed by 2/3rd majority.
