The person who had attempted to enter the Colombo residence of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, has been remanded.
He was remanded until 6th of October after he was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate, Lal Ranasinghe.
Yesterday, the suspect had attempted to enter former President's residence, saying that he wanted to meet the former President.
However, the security personnel have stopped him.
Then he had threatened to commit suicide brandishing a sharp object.
Later he was arrested.
The suspect, who had given up monkhood is a resident of Balangoda.
