The Bar Association of Sri Lanka has requested Chief Justice to take legal action against Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake over his alleged remarks against the Judiciary.

The President of the BASL, U. R. de Silva said a report was submitted to the Supreme Court with relevant details.
