Pramodya Wickremasinghe is requesting to appoint a Presidential Commission to probe the allegations made by him on Sri Lanka cricket's recent losses.

He said it is unethical to hold the inquiry by the local cricket governing body, Sri Lanka Cricket.

During an exclusive interview with ‘Hiru’ recently, the former Test cricketer and selector raised doubts about the losing pattern of Sri Lanka’s cricket team, alleging outside influence.

Then a group of 40 national cricketers including Dinesh Chandimal and Upul Tharanga handed over a signed petition to the SLC to investigate the allegations made by Wickremasinghe.

They had said that the cricketers will give their fullest support for that.
