President+meets+Sri+Lankan+community+in+USA

President Maithripala Sirisena says the Government has gained fruitful results for its commitment in the last two and a half years to achieve prosperity and reconciliation in Sri Lanka. 

The President made these remarks during a meeting with a group of Sri Lankan community living in the USA, yesterday (23).

During this meeting the President said that over the past two and a half years, the government had worked with commitment to eliminate poverty in the country and to face the international challenges relating to alleged human rights violations during the conflict, as well as to liberate the country from huge debt burden and to improve reconciliation.
