Three+parties+including+AG+issued+notices

The Attorney General, OIC of Colombo Crime Division and OIC of Maradana Police Station, were issued notices to appear before Courts on 2nd of October.

The order was issued when a bail application filed by Medical Faculty Students' Action Committee Convener Ryan Jayalath, was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge, A. A. R. Heiyanthuduwa this morning (25).

Jayalath is now in remand custody. In his bail application, the AG, CCD and Maradana Police have been mentioned as respondents.

Jayalath has been in remand custody accusing him of entering the Health Ministry premises forcefully and damaging properties there.
