More Information has come to light regarding the suicide of local actor Dasun Nishan.

Police have found a video recording on his mobile phone, which shows him taking his own life. Police said that the actor had made two attempts to end his life.

A friend of Dasun, who is also an actor, had visited the boarding house last afternoon, and then he had seen the body through a window. It was hanging from a ceiling fan.

Police noted, that he had written a suicide note where he had stated that he had no external pressures to end his life.

The body was found last afternoon at his boarding house in Pannipitiya.

Dasun Nishan had starred in several teledramas and music videos which are still being aired. 

He was 28-years-old at the time of his tragic death.

Police said the body will be handed over to his relatives after the postmortem is done.
