Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake has been ordered to appear before Supreme Court on 25th of October.

The order was issued today (12) by a 3-member Supreme Court bench after considering two petitions filed against Ramanayake.

Ven. Magalkande Sudaththa Thera and a retired security force’s personnel have filed these cases on alleged contempt of court, citing that the Deputy Minister has made derogatory remarks against certain judges.
