Lahiru Weerasekera remanded

Lahiru+Weerasekera+remanded
The convener of Inter-University Students' Federation, Lahiru Weerasekera and the Convener of Inter-University Bhikku Front, Thampitiye Sugathananda Thera have been remanded until 26th of this month.

They were remanded by Fort Magistrate today (12) for violating court orders.

They were in court today relating to a case, on a student protest held in March 2015.

Then they were remanded citing the violation of a court order during Monday's anti-SAITM protest.
