Navy+arrests+5+Indian+fishermen+off+Mannar

Sri Lanka Navy personnel apprehended 5 Indian fishermen along with a trawler while fishing in Sri Lankan waters in the seas off Mannar last night (11).

The arrested fishermen, the trawler, and their fishing gear were brought to the naval base SLNS Thammanna in Thalaimannar.

The fishermen are due to be handed over to the Fisheries Inspector in Mannar for necessary action.
