A report appeared on “Cricbuzz” says that Sri Lanka Cricket Team’s support staff including Manager Asanka Gurusinha has informed their willingness to travel to Pakistan.

It said they have conveyed their consent after the Pakistani coach Mickey Arthur spoke to them.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has assured the team security similar to that of Heads of State. SLC said that they understood the players' concern but will conduct their own security assessment.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Cricket is yet to announce its response to a letter submitted by 40 contracted players, urging the SLC to shift the match from Pakistan to another location.
