SL-Pakistan+Foreign+Office+consultations+begin

The Foreign Secretaries of Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Prasad Kariyawasam and Tehmina Janjua, will lead the respective Foreign Ministry delegations to the Fifth Foreign Office consultations that will take place in Colombo tomorrow (17).

Discussions during the consultations are expected to focus on all relevant areas of cooperation between the two countries including trade and investment, tourism, science and technology, education, immigration, defence and sports.

Foreign Office Consultations between the two countries were last held in Islamabad in 2014.

The Pakistan Foreign Secretary Janjua will pay a courtesy call on President Maithripala Sirisena tomorrow.
