COPE chairman and JVP MP, Sunil Handunnetti asked the Speaker to conduct an inquiry on the ministers and parliamentarians whose names were revealed before the Presidential Commission probing the Controversial Central Bank bond issuance.

Joint Opposition MP C.B. Rathnayake questioned the speaker whether an inquiry is conducted over the allegations.

Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera and parliamentarian Hector Appuhamy whose names were exposed before the Bond Commission also expressed their views in parliament today.

Meanwhile, the debate on the 3rd reading of the Budget 2018 commenced today.
