Police curfew imposed in Gingtota, Galle was lifted at 6 am today (19).
 
A Senior Police Officer said that the situation was peaceful in the area.
 
However, STF Personnel continues to be deployed in the area, he added.
 
Curfew was imposed day before as well and was removed at 9 am yesterday, while it was re-imposed last night.
 
Meanwhile, 19 individuals who were arrested in connection with the incident were remanded until the 30th of this month, when the suspects were produced before Galle Acting Magistrate yesterday.
