Farmers+stage+protest+seeking+water+from+Moragahakanda
A group of farmers staged a protest in front of the Moragahakanda project office, demanding the authorities to release water from the reservoir.
 
The farmers from the Girithale, Polonnaruwa, and Minneriya areas have gathered in front of the project office and it led to a tense situation there.
 
Meanwhile, another protest was held in Giradurukotte this morning, demanding the fertilizer subsidy.
