41 Judicial service officers transferred

41+Judicial+service+officers+transferred
41 Judicial Service Officers have been transferred with effect from 1st of January, 2018.
 
Accordingly, Nuwara Eliya District Judge M.G.M.C.M. Ferdinandez has been transferred to Nugegoda and Homagama District Judge M.P.M. Abeyrathna has been transferred to Colombo as Additional District Judge.
 
Nugegoda District Judge M.M.S.Y. Mapa has been transferred to Colombo as Additional District Judge. Mt. Lavinia District Judge Ms. C. Amaratunga has been transferred to Homagama.
 
In addition, District Judges of Puttalam, Chavakachcheri, Kalmunai, Mannar, Jaffna, Chilaw, Welimada, Moneragala, Muttur, Vavuniya, and Mullaitivu have been transferred.
 
Colombo Additional District Judge A.I.K. Ranaweera has been transferred to Mt. Lavinia as its District Judge while Gampaha Additional District Judge W.D. Wimalasiri has been transferred to Maligakanda as its Magistrate.
 
In addition, Magistrates of Batticaloa, Negombo, Nuwara Eliya, Maligakanda, Mahara, Matara, Kegalle, Balapitiya, Bibile, Embilipitiya, and Aanamaduwa have also been transferred.
 
The Judicial Service Commission stated that the transfers have been made under the annual transfer system.
