The trading at the Colombo Stock Market declined today (13).
 
The All Share Price Index closed in red as a result of price losses in counters such as Commercial Bank, Ceylinco Insurance, and Sampath Bank.
 
A similar behavior was noted in S&PSL20 Index.
 
The turnover crossed Rs. 682 million while 21.3 million shares were traded for the day.
 
Crossings were witnessed in John Keells Holdings, Tokyo Cement non-voting, Richard Pieris and Company, Access Engineering, Teejay Lanka and Cargills, accounting for 46.8% of turnover.
 
Mixed interest was observed in Tokyo Cement and Chevron Lubricants Lanka.
 
Meanwhile, foreigners remained active closing as net sellers.
 
Total foreign sales accounted for 68% of turnover.
