The 10th suspect allegedly involved in the abduction and disappearance of 11 youths during 2008/09 in Colombo has been arrested.
Later he was produced before Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne and remanded until Thursday.
The suspect, a former Navy intelligence officer attached to the Trincomalee Navy Camp, was arrested by a team from the Criminal Investigation Department.
The 9th suspect, who was also a former Navy Intelligence Officer was arrested on 16th of this month.
Meanwhile, 6 others including the former Navy Spokesperson Commodore D. K. P. Dassanayake who were in remand custody over the incident, were granted bail on 12th of this month.
