Farmers in Moneragala complain that their lemon cultivations are affected due to the prevailing dry weather.

Although harvesting is underway, the farmers complain most of the lemon trees are destroyed.

However, they noted that despite low yield, a kilo of lemon is sold at Rs. 45 in the wholesale market.
