An elderly Sri Lankan woman sent back from Kuwait
A Sri Lankan woman who had employed in Kuwait for around 40 years has been returned to the island with the intervention of Sri Lanka Embassy in Kuwait and Foreign Employment Bureau.
She came back to the island last morning (Apr. 15) and she was a 72-year-old resident of Ambalangoda.
Since no relative was present at the airport to recieve her, the Foreign Employment Bureau had been sent to Seth Sevana Elders' Home in Meerigama, managed by the Department of Social Services.
