16  Sri Lanka Freedom Party  MPs have agreed at today's talks to propose the Central Committee that SLFP should start a dialogue with political and religious leaders and to exit from government.

Former State Minister Lakshman Yapa said this after a discussion held at MP Thilanga Sumanthipala's home in Colombo.

Meanwhile, political sources said that SLFP MPs Dilan Perera and Chandima Weerakkody who quit their Ministry portfolios recently have flown to London to meet President Maithripala Sirisena.

President Maithripala Sirisena is currently in London attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

The SLFP Central Committee is scheduled to meet after the return of President from the UK.

Political sources stated that the two MPs have gone to London to discuss issues ahead of the CC meeting.
