Youth+arrested+while+trying+to+fly+to+Singapore+with+fake+documents
A 25-year-old person from Jaffna was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport while trying to depart to Singapore producing fake documents.
 
He was arrested this afternoon (Apr. 24).
 
It was found that the suspect was employed as a fisherman in Jaffna.
 
The authorities found an air ticket from Singapore to England in his bag.
 
A fake identity card similar to that of a commercial mariners, and several fake certificates were found in his bag.
 
The suspect was handed over to Airport unit of the Criminal Investigation Department for further inquiries.
