West Indies have named a 13-man squad for the Test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on 6th of June.

Left-hander Devon Smith has been recalled into the squad after 3 years along with wicket-keeper batsman Jahmar Hamilton.

Four players who made the trip to New Zealand for West Indies' last Test assignment, in December 2017, have been left out.

They are-batsmen Sunil Ambris and Jermaine Blackwood, the all-rounder Raymon Reifer, and the fast bowler Alzarri Joseph.

Joseph is recovering from a stress fracture in his back.

The Cricket West Indies (CWI) release announcing the Test squad, interestingly, lists three Test matches as originally scheduled - in Trinidad (June 6-10), St Lucia (June 14-18) and Barbados (day-night match, June 23 to 27).

Sri Lanka team is expected to leave the island today (May 25).
