The Joint Postal Trade Union Front says that a protest would be staged in Colombo today (Jun 25) with the support of several main trade unions urging the Government to provide solutions to their demands.

The strike was launched 15 days ago.

Meanwhile the strikers have decided to covert the ongoing fast in front of the Colombo Mail Exchange, into a fast unto death.

The postal trade unions yesterday briefed both Malwatte and Asgiri Chapter Chief Incumbents about the trade union action that they have launched.
