CPC says fuel price increase 'not enough'

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation says that the fuel prices should be increased by another 7 rupees to offset its accumulated losses.

It further says that a severe loss is accrued by selling kerosene at 70 rupees per litre in addition to subsidizing diesel and petrol.

Meanwhile, private bus and school van operators, office transport operators and three wheel drivers demand that the fares should be increased following the increase in fuel prices.
