Two+women+detained+for+using+6-year+old+granddaughter+to+transport+heroin.

Two women and a 6 year old child have been arrested for possession of  heroin worth of 120 thousand rupees.

The arrest took place along the coastal line of Ambalangoda last afternoon.

Police said the 6 years old had several packets of heroin concealed under her attire.

The two women are aged 40 and 38.

police investigations revealed the child is the 40 year old womans granddaughter .

The three-wheel driver who drove the three suspects was also arrested.

All suspects will be produced before Balapitiya Magistrate court today.
