Human bone fragments of 276 persons have already been found from the mass grave near the old CWE building in Mannar.

Meanwhile, a team of special representatives from the British High Commission in Colombo inspected this mass grave yesterday.

Meanwhile, forensic expert, Dr Shaminda Rajapakse, who is in charge of the mining, said that 21 bone fragments believed to be of children are among these bones.

In addition, a court order has been obtained to send these bones for testing to the University of Florida but they have not been sent as yet.

Dr Rajapakse told our news team that steps will be taken to send the bones to the University of Florida next January.
