Opposition+comments+on+the+Counter-Terrorism+Act
Member of Parliament Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said that with the government bringing in the Counter-Terrorism Act based on the requirement of the United Nations Human Rights Council, there is a relaxing of the legal frame work in operation regarding terrorism.

The Parliamentarian expressed these views at a media briefing held today in Colombo.

Similarly with the government becoming a co-sponsor to the Geneva Proposal he said that many problems have been created.

Member of Parliament Anura Priyadharshana Yapa who was present at the media briefing said that arrangements will be made soon to topple the present government which is searching for solutions through falsehoods.
