Second phase of the Indian General Election commences

Second+phase+of+the+Indian+General+Election+commences
The second phase of the Indian General Election has commenced by now.

Reports from India said that during the second phase voting in 13 states including the state of Tamil Nadu will take place.

If a government is to be established, at least a majority of 272 seats are required at this election which is being held to select 543 members of the Lok Sabha.

Counting of votes will take place on 23 May.

The Indian General Election which is being held in four stages is considered to be the democratic election where the largest number of voters participate.
