In an accident that occurred due to a motor car colliding with a three-wheeler opposite the Hali-ela Fuel Filling Station on the Badulla – Colombo main road, four persons who had been travelling in the three-wheeler and sustained injuries were admitted to the Badulla General Hospital.

Police said this accident had taken place today (18) at about 7.00 in the morning.

Initial Police Investigations have revealed that this accident happened due to careless driving by the driver of the car.

The Hali-ela Police are carrying out further investigations into this accident.

Meanwhile, the accident that took place has been recorded on CCTV footage fixed at a shop nearby.
