Former Deputy DIG Anura Senanayake issued with summons

Former+Deputy+DIG+Anura+Senanayake+issued+with+summons
Summons have been issued to former Deputy DIG Anura Senanayake to appear in Court on 6 August to hand over indictments on the allegation that he covered up information relevant to the murder of Rugger Player Wasim Thajudeen.

It is the Colombo High Court which has issued these summons subsequent to taking into consideration the indictments filed by the Attorney General.

It was on 17 May 2012 that Rugger Player Wasim Thajudeen was found dead in a vehicle near the Shalika Grounds in Narahenpita
