A+person+arrested+in+Welimada+with+a+stock+of+National+Identity+Cards

Police have taken into custody a person who had in his possession a stock of National Identity Cards at Dimuthugama in Welimada.

The Police said he had 51 National Identity Cards in his possession and that the suspect was a money lender.

It has been revealed to the Police during further investigations that this 48 year old resident of the same area was lending money on interest and he retains the NIC of borrowers as security.
