Sri Lanka is confident to go under the radar as they prepare to launch their campaign for World Cup glory against New Zealand in Cardiff today.

However, the Black Caps who reached the final four years ago for the first time after six semi-final defeats are the favourites to win the match.

Since the last World Cup, New Zealand have risen as high as second in the world rankings but have also been beaten at home by South Africa, England and India.

Sri Lanka has however decided to leave their past aside, and concentrate on a brighter future by better performance, aiming for victory in today’s match.
