Veteran+radio+announcer+Kusum+Peiris+passes+away

Veteran radio announcer, dubbing artist and lyricist Kusum Peiris passed away last night.

She was 71 years old at the time of her demise.

According to the relatives Kusum who has been suffering from a heart condition for over 6 months has passed away while she was been taken to the hospital last night after her condition turned critical.  

Final rights are scheduled to be held at the public cemetery in Kadawatha on Wednesday.
