The Colombo High Court dismissed the bail order issued by the Colombo Chief magistrate granting bail for former defence secretary Hemasiri Fernando and the suspended IGP Pujith Jayasundera.

The Attorney General filed a revision application against the bail order issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate.

Colombo High Court Judge, Vikum Kaluarachchi who considered the revision application dismissed the Magistrate Court order.

At the same time, the High Court ordered the Colombo Chief Magistrate to remand former defence secretary Hemasiri Fernando and suspended IGP Pujith Jayasundera again.
