Jaffna International Airport to be declared open today

Jaffna+International+Airport+to+be+declared+open+today

The Jaffna International Airport which is the third International Airport in Sri Lanka will be declared open today.

The Airport will be declared open under the patronage of the President today and a special aircraft from India arrived at this Airport day before yesterday. This was to test the runway.

Subsequent to this Airport being declared open for international flights it has been planned to operate three flights per week from Chennai to Jaffna.
