The Panmur Estate in Hatton is an area covered with lush green.

The area residents earn their livelihood by working at the estate.

Although they are not rich, the people are happy with their life style.

However, now they are in fear. The reason is a wild leopard.

The beast has reportedly attacked several workers at the estate injuring 7 of them.

The horrified workers are now refusing to pluck tea leaves until the leopard is removed from the area.

The wildlife officials, area residents and police have launched a combined operation to trap the animal.

Even a specially modified cage was taken to the estate for the purpose.
