MS Dhoni Sets Record for Most Stumpings in International Cricket.
Indian skipper and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni yesterday, set a record for the most number of stumpings in international cricket on day two, of the third Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
He overtook Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara when he stumped Mitchell Johnson off the bowling of off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, reaching 134 dismissals.
He reached the landmark in his 460th innings while Sangakkara has 133 stumpings from 485 innings.
Sri Lanka's former keeper Romesh Kaluwitharana who is third on the list, has the highest percentage with 101 stumpings from only 270 innings.
