No sense in extending my career for a year - Sangakkara
Batsman Kumar Sangakkara who will retire from Test cricket this summer says that there is no sense in extending his career for a year.
The 37-year-old batsman says that he’s been told that if he plays another year or two years, he could score another 1000 runs.
He might be the second highest run scorer, or he might even be able to break the Don's double-century record.
But Sangakkara added that if that was the only reason he wants to prolong his career, then it is really time to say, 'Thank you very much.'
Sangakkara, will finish his international career on home soil, in the 2nd of the 3 match Test series against India in August.
