Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 2 wickets to level the 5-match One Day International series yesterday in the second ODI at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.
Pakistan posted a target of 288 for Sri Lanka to chase after they won the toss and decided to bat.
Lasith Malinga and debutant Sachith Pathirana picked up two wickets each.
Kusal Perera hammered Sri Lanka's joint fastest fifty in ODIs, which made a target of 288 look like a cakewalk, while Dinesh Chandimal stayed on until the end to hit the winning run adding 48 to the 288 with two wickets and 11 balls remaining.
