Pakistan captain Azhar Ali opted to bat again on an overcast and warm afternoon in the third ODI at the R Premadasa Stadium.

Azhar reckoned the pitch was good for batting and made one change in the team. Since Mohammad Hafeez was banned from bowling for 12 months, Pakistan rested batsman Babar Azam for uncapped allrounder Imad Wasim.

Safraz Ahamad top scored for the Pakistanis with 77 runs while Mohammed Hafeez scored 54 runs.

Captain Azar Ali chipped in with 49 runs while Ahmad Ahezad scored 44.

Pakistanis scored 316 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
